        oh lucas

LONDON, Feb 10 (Reuters) - Lucas Neill's injury-hit start to his West Ham United career continued when the Australia captain damaged knee ligaments against Watford on Saturday.

'He has twisted his medial ligaments,' West Ham manager Alan Curbishley told Sky Sports after the 1-0 defeat by their Premier League relegation rivals at Upton Park.

The 28-year-old defender, who now faces several weeks on the sidelines, also hobbled off on his West Ham debut in the FA Cup fourth-round loss to Watford two weeks ago.

He joined the east London club from Blackburn Rovers for an undisclosed fee last month.

Yeah i was gutted to hear that too. My, how well things are going for him at the moment. Still, I doubt he cares seeing as he's picking up 70 grand a week, which is all that matters to the ****.

Personally, ignoring his decision to join West Ham instead of us, I admire his bravery for starting the match and trying to play on with an obviously bad injury.

I'd play with one leg broken, one tit swollen and 3 teeth knocked out for 70 grand per week. What Lucas Neill did is nothing...

Are you sure your bitterness wouldn't be better suited in Kirkby?

Personally, I couldn't give a toss about Lucas Neill or his injuries.

He chose another club, he's injured. Life goes on.
