Garrincha..
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.

Sorry. I edited it to apologise earlier but then I thought Les won't mind...Originally posted by Howard_lfc View Post*******s !

I see I was wrong. Sorry, Les.
I also thought Pele, Rivelino and Jairzinho were pretty good too. And Gerson although he didn't have a very Brazilian name I always thought..

Gerson looked like Lennie Bennett if anyone remembers who he was. He was a better player though.
I always liked Eder and Socrates. The 82 World Cup Brazil team were the most exciting football team I'd ever seen at the time. Mind you I was 8!
Er.....back on topic I'll go for Ronaldinho. Rivaldo ruined it for me by making a **** of himself with that dive in the 2002 World Cup when the ball hit his knee and he fell over holding his face. Mind you his hat trick against Valencia for Barca in the last La Liga game of that season was something else.
