    Middelsborogh v Briistol Ciity

    Anyone ctach the FA Cup replye on the box?

    City with a depleted side ttook the game to middlesborough. Took the lead and held onto it for about 70mins . Middlesborough equalissed and went 2-1 up onl yfor City to eqalise in th last couple of mintes.

    Extr time was played and it remained 202 so pens.

    City lost 5 -4 on pesn of I remeberm.....


    Cracking performance from a team the deservet o be in a higher leagure. They pass the ball around ad attempt o paly good football.

    Shame to go out the cup, buut made a load of wurzels very proud tonighte.

    Sorya bout hte spelling had a few ciders.

    Certainly did mate, very very unlucky.

    Was going to put up a GordGeck suicide watch thread but Est1892 was down

    Having said that, it's frustrating to watch players make completely savable penalties

          Andy Gray's commentary during the pens was as good as ever. After Schwarzer saved a penalty he said "I've always said Martin, if the keeper dives the right way he has a chance of saving it" - no **** Sherlock.

          Then as the Boro player stepped up to take the winning pen Andy says "I think you'll find he'll blast this." Cue penalty gently stroked into the corner.

              great game, was chatting 2 me mate Chris Hall who supports Bristol and i said that the goalkeeper deserved Man Of the match
              Id rather bleed with cuts of love then live without any scars

                I was pissing myself listening to andy gray - when boro got the penalty in extra time and yakubu picked up the ball he said somehting like "Yaks(like he's his best mate) is easily the best/coolest penalty taker I have ever seen in my life, he never misses" at which point tyler says "yes he has scored 18 out of 19 penalties", so he has missed then anyway 'Yaks' then fluffs the pen straight at the keeper moments later Gray says, "do you know what, I've been saying all season that if the Keeper stands still Yakubu will struggle from the spot" hahahaha ****ing priceless

                Then penalty shoot - Andy Gray: "do you know what martin, I just wonder if this will go to the last Penalty and Yakubu will take it" It does, gray is creaming his pants now : "I told ya, I told ya, haha, up steps Yaks to win it, there is no waaaaayyyy he'll miss two tonight" ete etc etc Up steps Yakubu who hits the ****ing post, ROFLMAO, Gray u tit.

                      They play good football don't they? Pass it around too....

                      City were actually without 3 of there strikers (same as first leg) and so did really well considering....gutted to lose...

                        [Pedant] actually he is kind of right, he missed one pen, but it was retaken and he scored....so technically he has missed none (I think, not great on stats usually) [/Pedant]
