Never goes out on the piss up and is just desperate to play for the blue ****e. Very decent lad, besides the fact he is a blue.
I know his girlfirend, her parents and him very well. Hell of a nice lad, very focussed. Knowing him I think he's been mis quoted by over zealous editing.

I like Nugent good player, wasn't Nolan and Barton on our books? He wouldn't be in the team now anyway so he would be released even if he was with us still.
I think it's a foul, and if the ref gives it. He got to give a penalty. I know it's outside the box, but you see them given that close to the area. So if the ref gives it he's got to give the penalty as it so close to the area. But I think it's a penalty. Robbie Savage 8/11/06

Are you watching Manchester United? Are you watching Chelsea? This is Liverpool F.C taking over the bloody world!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not so sure about that. We had Mellor for a while even though he clearly wasn`t good enough for a starting place.
From the very little I`ve seen of him, and from what I`ve read it looks like we might have missed something with this one.

We definitely had Nolan, not sure about Barton.

i think that nugent is doing the right thing. he could have left Preston pissed them off and gone to the Prem. By staying he could help them into the prem so he would play a season for them at least. or if they dont make it no north end fans would begrudge him playing in the prem.

he wont have pissed anyone off and he will play in the prem. alot of players could learn from him if you ask me.
