I'm just trying to tot up the number of players in this game who we have been linked with. I reckon it's about half of them.

Miguel, Ayala, Albelda, Villa, Morientes (obviously), Joaquin on the bench, Ronaldinho (when he was still at PSG and before the Man U stuff), Gudjohnsen (or have I imagined that?), Deco, Saviola on bench. Where's Canizares?

And we only had Nando to show for it. Shows that about 99% of rumours are complete crap!
