According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

I hated Keane, but I do miss the 'Keane v Vieira' battles. Those clashes were fantastic, and it of course culiminated in their 'tunnel confrontation'. Two absolutely top-class players, top class pros who had an unrivalled desire to win. Great stuff. Arsenal-Scum games aren't the same anymore without those two.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

le tisser
asprilla was class to watch when he wanted to be. he just seemed to play when the mood took him if not he didn't bother his arse! still what a player.
zola and bergkamp two top class flair players that could unlock defences kinda what we need!
I'm normally not a praying man, but if you're up there, please save me Superman.
And Shearer, he did what he does with great effect, and it annoyed the **** out of me, but at the end of the day - I would have loved him to have played for us rather than against us.
Le Tissier
Paoulo Wanchope (against Man Utd-always seemed to score)
George Kinkladze
Temuri Ketsbaia (because he was mental)
Les Ferdinand
Jay Jay Okotcha (what's happened to him?)
