    I'll Miss Cardiff

Well as the last English Final has now been played at the Millenium Stadium (???.....well maybe)

I for one will miss the place, I have been to every final we have played there and thoroughly enjoyed them all (apart from Chelski in the the Carling cup of course)

The People who are a nice friendly bunch and always seemed pleased to see us scousers there again (ok they were prolly as welcoming to every other team that played there too)

The staff at the Millenium stadium were great, and actually helpfull and didnt treat a request for assistance or directions, as an interuption to their afternoon.

Even the Police were a nice friendly and helpfull bunch and did not treat every fan as a potential arrestee

Special Mention to every fans dream the aptly named " Joy" Dispenser, that wonderfull piece of equipment at the back of every bar in the stadium that can pull 12 pints of lager at the push of a button (and at a reasonable price)

Yes I will miss the Millenium Stadium, it just goes to show that if you treat fans as human beings you get a much better response.

I wonder if things will be as pleasant at the new Wembley Stadium........It would be nice to think so....but somehow I doubt it.
Lawrenson:"Well thats 3 good chances they have had in the first 3 minutes of this half"

Motson:"" Yes Mark, you could almost say that they have had 3 chances in as many minutes"

Lawrenson: Errr I thought I just did say that, John"

I'll miss having the cup finals there and the matchday experience, but it still is - and always will be - a complete **** hole

Cardiff was a fantastic place to hold the finals. I went there five times with the mighty Reds and always had a great time, even on the one occasion we lost!

Great city, good night out. Good women too from what I seem to remember...
