rest 8 players for an F.A cup match? it really pisses me off, what are they going to achieve in the league?

the only chance of silverware, if i was a fan id be ****ing livid because they would have turned the scum over last night with thier full team out

Because Coppell did it last year and it created a fantastic squad feeling in which he unlike all the other promoted managers had 22 or so players who all knew their roles in the team and could swap in and out of the team. It's not as if the team he put out disgraced itself, or hadn't earned a draw with United in the first game.

              Due to soft goaltending.
              They deserved a draw.

And a tactical error by Coppell who started with 3 at the back. He has admitted his error.

Yes. Their offensive impact players nearly got them a tie.

I seem to believe it was 3-2 at the end and two of those goals were keeping errors. In the end my friend who is a United supporter said that they deserved to win. I thus feel it is hardly a disgrace.

Also it has been pointed out before that although Copell is an ex-United player, he was originally a Liverpool supporter and is simply not an over emotional soul, so his support for any team now is not particularly obvious.

It's luck like this which saw the Mancs claim their Treble in 99. I hope to God it doesn't happen again!
