Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

Enough about Rob Earnshaw...got 3 headscratchers for you.

            1. What was unusual about the three goals that Liverpool conceded at Anfield in the final stages of the 2004/05 Champions League? (i.e. not the qualifiers)

            2. Which five players have played over 100 games in the Champions League in its current format?

            3. Who is the only player to have scored for five different teams in the Champions League, yet has never won it? (bonus point if you name the teams)

              1. Juve at home, header from corner, Cannavaro.
Leverkusen at home..can't remember. A late one, was it also a corner? Think so.
              Olympiakos - Rivaldo freekick.

              All from set pieces then.

              2. Raul, Kahn, R. Carlos, Giggs?

              3. Crespo? Inter, Milan, Chelsea, Parma?, has he played in spain? nah...not him then. Anelka - PSG?, Arse, Real, Us? nah...

                1. Leverkusen wasn't a corner. So that's not it. You've got the right games though.

                2. Raul, Kahn, Roberto Carlos yes. Giggs no. Two more.

                3. Crespo yes. Inter, Milan, Chelsea, Parma and...................Lazio.

Edit: Cannavaro's wasn't from a corner either come to think of it...

Did we have a different goalkeeper each time?

Maldini yes. Not Crespo, this thread isn't dedicated to him and Rob Earnshaw!

Not Casillas and Helguera. But you've got the right club...
