They're one of the great teams in England - historically AND currently. LFC, the Mancs, Arsenal...

They've never really cut it in Europe of course.

    The rest are also-rans.
    .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

Yes I agree with that, but I find it curious that an LFC fan would be impressed by Arsenal's tradition. That's all.

Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

          Why?
Man U have a proper tradition
We obviously have a proper tradition
          Arsenal have a proper tradition.

You are over-reacting beyond belief here Red Chilli.

Well, it is impressive. Far be it from me to explain Marky (although it might be a laugh if I tried ) but he didn't say he found it more impressive than our tradition, did he?

I just wish it had gone to extra time and then they'd lost.

I'm not over-reacting, I'm just trying to understand where you're coming from. I've never come across an LFC fan who has been so impressed with Arsenal's tradition before.
I'm not making a big deal out of it, just trying to get some perspective.
However, I can see you're a little sensitive about it so I'll leave it

Listen it's as simple as this, i like Arsenal, i like thier style of play, i like alot of thier players, i like thier tradition, i like the way they don't go out throwing money around, i like the way they give their younger players a chance(whether they r British or not is irrelevant), i LOVED the way they knocked United off there perch a few times in the late 90's early 2000's...want me to go on?
They are a fantastic football club, why deny it? Jealousy perhap?
                Ok?
                Jealous of WHAT?

                    They are a MASSIVE Club.(imo)
Compared to Chelsea and Spurs, they might be a massive club.

But in the wider scheme of things, they're not.

No european cups EVER doesnt quite cut it.

They're a big club. They're not a 'massive' club, akin to the likes of us, Milan, Real Madrid, Barcelona and the mancs.

You keeping banding that word around, but you've yet to explain what you mean by it. Or give examples of this apparently 'great' tradition Arsenal have.

I admire how they play and enjoy watching them. I recognise they've got some good FRINGE players (the 'kids' thing is an almighty media-created myth, if you actually investiage it - they've got about FOUR kids of great promise, but nothing like the 'team' of kids' Sky keep w*nking off about).

But jealous? Not in the slightest.

They've nothing of major significance that we dont have, that would warrant jealousy.

But the Mancs have won the European Cup.
