I don`t get much of the hatred towards him here.
Yes, I think he`s overrated.
Yes, his not very versatile

But:
He`s very good at what he does.
He`s worked hard to get where he is. I could mention a few LFC players from the last 10 years that would have done very well with his attitude.
There is never any trouble with him (that I can recall)
People who has met him says he`s a nice guy, does a lot of chairity etc.

Agree, that sums it up nicely, he´s very very good at what he does, scoring goals and creating them. He doesn´t fit in every team and isn´t as adaptive as Gerrard but he´s probably a better finisher then Gerrard, not worse IMO. Would still have a player like Gerrard instead every day.
