            He may be injured but McClaren didn't say anything about an injury. The way he was going on it was more about "moving forward, your not part of it. If you prove it with Real I'll think about bringing you back in."

            I would have hoped it was a statement along the lines of "You weren't great for England in the WC, yes you scored, and set up a couple of goals but on the whole, it wasn't a great performance".

            But if that was the case, he should have dropped Fatty Lamptard cos he really was ****e.

              McClaren obviously doesn't watch Spanish football. Is McClaren seriously trying to have us believe Kieran ****ing Richardson has more to offer than Beckham?

              This reeks of Farmer McClaren trying far too hard to impose himself.

              I don't necessarily think Beckham should be an automatic choice anymore, but he has to be among the best 22 players in the country.
