always want them to lose. i think most of us are like that. witness the half time cheer at anfield when george announced that porto were one nil up.

i want us to be successful and i want the rest to look on enviously as we stride around on the european stage alone.

nah fook em all, esp the other big 3..only bad thing is that Englans as representative might lose a spot if English clubs dont do well..but no never..I remember in 1999 i wore a Bayern Munich shirt to wind up all the Mancs when i was living in Vancouver they lost but still showed my loyalty toawrds mancs as a Scouser

I am quite happy to cheer for any one other than the english teams: Mancs, bitters, Chav's, etc

Yep, last season's CL final was one of the most enjoyable non-Liverpool matches I think I've seen.

Bought a Barca shirt especially for last season's CL final. Only mistake I made was not driving around North London after the match waving it out the window and tooting the horn.

Is this expression from Roger's Profanisaurus?
                  .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

I can't stand the thought of the others doing well - I would be physically sick if either chavski or the scum knocked us out.

As evidence of what I mean go back to 2005, we spent 3 days in Liverpool for the final and the homecoming parade, on the way back up to Dundee we stopped at the motorway services around Teabay.

As me and the missus walked into the food area this guy walked past with his two sons who were about 10 years old, one was wearing a Milan top the other a scum top.

I couldn't help it - as I walked past this guy I started saying things like 'losers' and 'we've won it 5 times' etc.

Needless to say the missus - never mind the guy and his two sons threw a bit of a loopy!
