    Uruguay 1930:

                  mexico 86 for me
                  i remember those little green stickers, cant remember where you got them but there was one for each country and i had them on my subbuteo teams
                  great tournament, and the first one i can fully remember, was only 7 in 82

                  just seen the posts bout mascots, it was pique in different coloured hats
                  i loved that guy

                    im in favour of the uruguay poster...i think it looks great. Cubist in nature.

                    also a big fan of the spanish poster....its not by Dali mate, I think it was designed by miro

                      The Germany 2006 one is incredibly dull and unimaginative. I'd say the Spain 1982 one was by Joan Miro - nowt like Dali! And didn't the tournaments used to be a lot shorter?!

                        Damn - didn't spot your post before posting mine and now see you got in before me on the Miro. But I'd say the Uruguay one was Art Deco rather than Cubist.

                              its a funny one that Uruguay poster.on further inspection id be leaning towards art neuveu...but really it is a combo of all three.

                              Miro also designed a poster for Barca in the eighties, im a big fan of that...looks great.
