That makes more sense I suppose.

Yep. If I was a Barca fan I'd be overjoyed with a point from that, considering how the game went - the players gave their all for the team also.

Ah, ok. I really expected Diarra to get a red card.
          He was ridiculously clumsy tonight.

Brilliant match. Lots of goals, lots of bookings, a red card... And two of the clubs that were knocked out of Champions League battle it out. Bloody brilliant.

Don't give a crap about the score-line though, because... Well, I just don't give a crap about what's happening in La Liga

Game of the season as far as LA LIGA is concerned. Barca with 10 men still managed a point. Messi was top class with 3 beauties. What a joy to watch that game was.

Too bad the bulls didn't come in at the end. Then it would have been perfect

I watch quite a bit of Spanish football and it really is football of the highest quality. Tonights game was nothing out of the ordinary. The Sevilla v Barcelona game last week was of a similar high class.

Barca got a point because Capello for some reason ordered his team to defend a 3-2 lead against a team with 10 players

Barca was down and out and then Capello does something like that, very
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Apparently it's something they do when they've witnessed a very special goal (could be game in this case). McMoneyman got this treatment when he hit a jumping volley in a league game once (not the one in the CL final)

It was an exciting game in some ways but the defending was abysmal, Newcastle standard, almost embarrassing.

Best league in the world? Maybe overall, in attack definitely, but football is played at both ends of the pitch.
                              .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.
