Seeing as there's no really credible links between LFC and him I reckon this should go to the general footy forum.... the kid looks quality though

I don't get it why do people rate players in the dutch league so highly? Yeah there have been a few (actually a lot) but any players that have set the world a light since Hyypia or Horseface?
I think it's a foul, and if the ref gives it. He got to give a penalty. I know it's outside the box, but you see them given that close to the area. So if the ref gives it he's got to give the penalty as it so close to the area. But I think it's a penalty. Robbie Savage 8/11/06
Are you watching Manchester United? Are you watching Chelsea? This is Liverpool F.C taking over the bloody world!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Robben's done quite well.
Van Persie is starting to play well at Arsenal.
I watched him in the Amsterdam Tournament against United, he was utter crap now on that basis he is a crap player and we should never think about buying him!
I know the Dutch league is comparatively poor but you can't deny that it produces great players and that Dutch players tend to do quite well in England.
I think that warrants a special interest in the Dutch league.
Huntelaar is young but very, very highly rated.
Maybe not worth the price given the speculative nature of the investment but one to watch all the same.
