average of 30,000 attendance every home game, outside the top 4
    - the best in the EPL.
Pearce is still relatively new to management, he's a good manager imo and the right man to take City out of trouble.
at how wrong that stat is. I don't even need to look but off the top of my head outside the top 4, the following clubs DEFINITELY average more than 30,000 per game:

    Blue ****e
    Spurs
    Newcastle
    West Ham
    Villa

In fact I'd put money on the fact that City average far more than 30,000 per home game.

I always thought we would finish 4th mate, because quite simply, we're the fourth best side in the league.

We're a different animal in Europe though, where simply anything is possible.

According to the BBC website Man City's average gate this season is 38,941

With our impotent strike force and lack of flair and creativity we were never going to challenge this season. 4th is about right.

I knew it was more than 30,000. Isn't their capacity at 50,000 or thereabouts?

I think Man City’s slide down the Premiership table coincides with him taking on the England U21’s role. Maybe this shows that it’s impossible to have two jobs at once when you’re managing at the highest level.

I think they were in decline a long time before that mate.

City are a poor, poor side. The worst set of strikers in the Prem.

They probably were, but I'm sure that taking on an extra job could not have helped things for him.

I was with a Man City fan in the pub on Sunday and he said that it was ironic really that City can't score because Pearce has spent most of his transfer kitty on strikers.

We can call Pearce a **** manager, but he gives an extremely dignified interview and he just spoke very well. I like the bloke and I hope it works out for him.

In fairness towards Pearce I can recollect that when he became Man City’s manager he insisted that there was no compensation clause in his contract if he was to get the sack.

Once city are safe they should **** him off.
I like Pearce but if the club didn't want him to take the U21 job then they should get rid of him. It's not as if he hasn't got enough on his plate already without spending time away from the club coaching other teams players.

This is getting worse than the old free ****talk forums.
Were the fukcing hell is the team spirit here? "Yeah were the 4th best team in prem" "Sell Kuyt, sell crouch, in fact sell all of the team and lets buy berbatov."
We got one nut job in here who thinks he's Jamo, another who thinks he's a "dessertscouser" whatever the fuk that is and some more moaning and groaning "fans".
And as for all the scousers in here cheering on the chavs - WHY?
I'm sorry, i hate the filthy mancs as much as the next man, but I'll tell you something, i would rather they win the prem than them dirty cheating cockney puffs.

Sorry for the rant, but we are Liverpool Football Club. 18 Titles, 5 European champs on the way to 6 and 7 FA Cups. Not counting the numerous other trophys we have won, i would say that puts us above ALL the teams in the premiership. Now stick that in yout pipe and smoke it to all you children who dont remember us winning the league.
