    Ronaldo's Comments

After scoring the winner, Ronaldo was asked why he thought controversial decisions seemed to follow him.

He said: "Maybe some people don't like me. Maybe I'm too good."

"For me, it is a penalty. Why when I am involved is it always polemic?"

Ronaldo insists he did not go down too easily under Woodgate's challenge.

He added: "Of course I felt contact, that is why I slipped. He touched.

"If he touches me I lose my movement and that is why I go down. He kicked me."

Should football become a 'No contact' sport then ?

    Little prick.

He looks like a ladyboy, and his arrogance and cheat****ery is an embarrassment to football.

What have I learned, Mr Mackay? Three things. One - bide your time. Two - keep your nose clean. And three - don't let the *******s grind you down

To be fair - I thought the interview was a bit naughty.
The interviewer (Jeff Shreeves?) was harking on about his 'dive', and was there contact? and should he go over if he feels contact etc? And why do all other fans dislike him?
Man U sent him out in front of the cameras to receive his MOM award - and he didn't receive any praise/recognition of this fact - it was all about his antics.
I'd be disappointed if one of our players was treated that way.

The guy is a fabulous player - and doesn't need to dive when he feels the slightest of touches. He'd be much better respected if he was told to cut that out of his game.

I think he runs like a girl. I hate him and unfortunately Lasty's nephew is the spitting image of him

The player touched him but Ronaldo dived.

It was penalty but Ronaldo play acted to make it look a lot worse than it was.

Until he stops cheating he will only have himself to blame for being asked question after question about his divings.

He is a fantastic player but people talks more about his cheating than the other fantastic moves he does on the pitch and there is a reason to why.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

It's the manner of victory isn't it - he's exaggerated the contact at best (dived at worst) to win a football game that's incredibly important to Middlesbrough.

He's then gone and wound up the Middlesbrough bench.

As Caco said, he really doesn't need to do it. Shows a complete lack of class.
