NI v Lichtenstein and v Sweden - double header!

Its that time again where me and about 5 other people discuss the NI match!

At least Healy is back so we should score goals. If we can beat Liechtenstein (and we really should) then a draw at home on Wednesday v Sweden and we are still well in the hunt.

My only worry, as always, is that Norn Iron always perform against the so called bigger nations and mess it up when expected to win, so expect to see a draw or defeat tomorrow and a heroic win against Sweden!

    Group F: Liechtenstein v NI
    Date: Saturday 24 March
    Kick-off: 1915 GMT
    Venue: Rheinpark Stadion, Vaduz
Coverage: Live on BBC Two NI, updates on the BBC Sport website
Northern Ireland manager Lawrie Sanchez has told his players their attitude must be right if they are to get the expected three points in Liechtenstein.

The men in green are aiming for victory in Vaduz on Saturday and a home win over Sweden four days later - results which would see them top Group F.

"We have got to make sure we do a job properly and professionally and if we do that we will win," said Sanchez.

"Portugal only drew here 0-0 in the last World Cup."

Snow has hampered Sanchez's training plans slightly but the Northern Ireland boss had anticipated such problems.

"We knew there would be snow here so we took two days at Bisham Abbey to do some ground work," added Sanchez.

"We are hoping to get on the pitch on Friday night and get a feel for it."

Northern Ireland, after an opening defeat by Iceland, have recovered to become contenders for a place in the Euro 2008 finals.

Now they must handle the rising expectations of their own supporters.

"We have been underdogs in the past and have managed to cause upsets. But the boot is on the other foot now," said the NI boss.

"If we get the points, people will have assumed it, and if we do not it will be the end of the world - it always is."

Sanchez said he did not want to be distracted by newspaper stories about the Irish FA wanting him to stay on as manager after the Euro campaign.

He said he would not be surprised if the IFA offered him a new contract.

"They have done quite well since I have been in charge," he said.

This forum must now be renamed. David Healy

I could not dig, I dared not rob:
Therefore I lied to please the mob.
Now all my lies are proved untrue
And I must face the men I slew.
What tale shall serve me here among
        Mine angry and defrauded young?

Tell me about it. I was rough as a badger's arse yesterday and still feel knackered today. Ended up doing a lot of black Aftershocks and toasting Healy! They taste vile, a bit like Benylin, and left me feeling awful on Sunday morning.

As Danny Glover would say in Lethal Weapon, I'm too old for this ****.

                        ****ing hell! Healy AGAIN!

What a great result. NI seem to have summoned some real spirit - fair play.

                        Healy's record is unbelievable.

Yeah right. I'll look really silly when he's on the bench for the titanic Preston v Leeds CLASH this weekend.

I'd cry if Liverpool signed Healy, put it that way, and I suspect 99% of other Reds would too.

And that's the bottom line. Milan Baros scores **** loads of international goals, and he's not very good either.
