    The New Wembley

Went to the U21 game today, have to say the stadium is very impressive, you could imagine 50,000 reds in there would be some sight.

Food & drink is very expensive as you know, lots of posh restaurants that are mega expensive & seem some how out of place at a football match, a Sea Food Restaurant FFS.

Had a drink in a bar called The 1978 Liverpool Brugge Bar, that will piss the Mancs off if they ever get there!!

Down sides are parking, 3 mile exclusion zone apparantly

The bogs are very small on the middle section were I was, I can imagine piss flowing out the door & down the escalators if the stadium was full of tanked up scousers. Oh & the sinks are bit high for the average bloke to pea in!!

Outside on the concorse is an accident waiting to happen, mark my words someone will be killed sooner rather than later. Whist very impressive there is a drop of about 50 feet and the railings are only 4 ft high. This is all well & good when the fans are friendy & sober but if you get two sets of fans who hate each other & are pissed up, you know people will do stupid things.

Oh, the Match wasn't bad either, we should sign their number 9 in the summer

I love that! I can see myself getting pissed there in future cup finals!!
Dreams come true. Without that possibility, nature would not incite us to have them.

when you say bar, is it like an american style stadium with sit down bars and restaurants inside?

Yes they are a bit like that & some of the restaurant prices were obscene, £7.00 a pint!!.

The normal food & drink outlets are in the outer ring have no seating or tables of any description

I got a text from my mate earlier who was at the game and he said the stands behind the goals are literally about 40 meters away from the pitch ?!

            Is it true ?

True Mr Glove, in the Sea Food Bar, had a look but didn't buy, paid £3.50 instead from the ordinary kiosks & that was bad enough

I wouldn't have said that to be honest, more like 40 feet

A few of my mates went today and were thoroughly impressed with the new Wembley experience.

I was there too, it was big, but to be honest it felt a bit soulless - like the Emirates. The acoustics were good, so when full it might all be different.
