An easy 3-0 win but a disappointing display IMO. The players were treating it like a training session after going a goal up so soon. They should have gone for the jugular and planted 7 or 8 past a poor San Marino side.
Mind you, it's 3 points in the bag. I wish we had back-to-back games against England next so we could get a nice run going.

The three points and clean sheet was the most important thing last night.
Yes it was poor, but all of us surely expected that - we're just not confident enough in front of goal to score a bag full and we haven't the players to get a cricket score have we!?
They came to defend and we're not creative enough and clinical enough to rip them apart, but a 3-0 win will do in my eyes as we're nowhere near good enough to stuff teams like them apart are we! More goals would have been nice, but Bellamy isn't the finisher we all crave, and a second striker isn't up to scratch at that level to make the most of the chances we created. Yes we should have scored 6 or 7 but we're never going to do that with th eplayers available to us.
Three points was the aim, and we got it. Bring on the Czechs next and let's hope we have some of our better players (e.g. Earnshaw, Delaney, Gabbidon) back for that one.

Bellamy has looked well below his confident best over the last two matches. I'd agree that we want all the injured players back ASAP but with our best eleven out on the pitch I can't see us getting anything out of the Czech game. Hope they prove me wrong thoughOriginally posted by Taffy View PostThe three points and clean sheet was the most important thing last night.

Agreed. We'll have to be very lucky on the night to get anything out of the game going by the form of the team at present.Originally posted by Joey Jones View PostBellamy has looked well below his confident best over the last two matches.
