Spanish media is in bullish mood and says that the spanish team will melt the Icelandic team in Mallorca tonight :whatever: Aragones has publicly criticized Iniesta and Alonso so we will probably see Albelda and Fabregas in midfield with Puyol and Ramos back, otherwise they will probably name the same team that scraped past 10-man Danmark.

Several key players are missing from Iceland though, most notably defensive stalwart Hreidarson from Charlton, Gunnar Þorvaldsson fron Hannover and Heidar Helguson from Fulham. Still we´ll beat those perennial underachivers tonight and we´ll beat them good.

Yes, I think we´ll see a few tackles, I really hope Xabi doesn´t play and I really wish CRonaldo was Spanish, the Icelandic team can sometimes get a little overzealous in tackling.

I was with my team at a girls footy tournament in Denmark last year, and got chatting to 14 year old twins from Iceland who were possibly the most perfect daughter material. One got injured and I helped her off the field. She seemed her like butter wouldn't melt in her mouth, but when the player who fouled her from Sigtunaskolan came off the pitch, she launched into a volley of Icelandic swearing and abuse. To see two nordic girls going at it like Járnsaxa was a proper laugh.
