Couldn't care less what he does at club level.

A goal every other game at international level for a team who should hardly be scoring at all will do me.

Don't get me wrong i rate Kevin Doyle quite hghly in fact but are you telling me you wouldn't have David Healy in your starting line up for the ROI?
      FCUK ME SIDEWAYS(not literally obv)
Most international football isn't as high a standard as most Premiership football. Doyle has a dozen or so league goals in the Prem so I'd suggest most games he'd play in at international level would represent a step down for Doyle.

Doyle would be in most managers' sides ahead of Healy.

*cough* When was the last time you watched Healy for 90 mins/a full game? *cough*

Classic example of newspaper/OPTA/Champie 'matter of fact' assessment of a player.
The last time would be the England game, but regardless I know Doyle is better - not that it matters a jot. I'm just killing time.

Also, a mate of mine is a Leeds fan and he's a good judge. According to him, who I dare say has seen much more of Healy than thou, Healy is absolutely ****ing ****!

Still as i understand it the world record holders for NOT scoring. Achieved in the last three years.

Make no mistake, if it weren't for Davis and Healy we'd be at the opposite end of that table.

The thread title is clearly facetious, but we don't care, world-beater or not...

It's all the same to us...

Im serious i dont rate Healy at all!!

Doyle has way more to offer and far better player healy wouldnt be fit to clean his shoes. If Healy is lucky he'll get to play for Watford next year in the Championship.

International level is gone to the pits to be fair, no player cares about it and if they do then its not much. You see the likes of Lampard play **** for England on a wednesday night pure **** and then you go to saturday for Chelski in the Prem and bang in goals. Also Giggs not interested in Wales especially on Saturday against Ireland but see him come back to Manure at the weekend and play out of his skin. Also the likes of Villa,Torres,Puyol etc.......not that bothered at International level and it shows, but get them playing for their club teams and you'll see them in their true light.
When you feel like you're done, you are not alone........

It's quite a story. If his run continues then Norn Iron really do have a chance of qualifying. They're resilient enough as a team to get there more or less on his goals alone if he can sustain this kind of form. Alas despite the way things are going at the moment, I think England will be the only home nation to qualify. Really hope I'm wrong, would be pretty incredible if you guys got there with Sweden, Denmark and Spain for competition.

Northern Ireland's turnaround has been phenomenal. It wasn't that long ago you got battered at home by some **** team (can't remember who it was?) and Sanchez spat his dummy out.

An amazing about turn. Credit where it's due, cos on paper that side is ****ing rubbish!

It really would, but like Scotland we'll no doubt **** it up at the final hurdle.

I better start trying to get in with Maestro as i may be looking diggs over there soon.

Iceland. My uncle went tits as well. There was a real clamour to get Sanchez out.

I sent my uncle a txt tonight, "Still want Sanchez gone ya fud?"

Is David Healy a good player or is Dennis Wise a good manager?

                      Yes or No answers please.......................

I still remember a few years back when Wales beat a few really top teams and Earnshaw doing really well, of course they managed to **** it in the end like

You've got to enjoy it while it lasts when you are a minnow

You can count Sir Alex in that as well

Healy is one of those players like Milosevic who despite being ****e in the English league is a quality player on the world stage. If only some England players could be like that (I guess we blew it when we kicked Darius Vassell out of the squad). I think he should try his luck abroad.

Oddly made up for NI, especially considering the **** England game I just watched.
