Thanjk you.

I've just cancelled my subscription to Sky Sports.
Virgin Media are charging £26.50 pm for Sky Sports 1,2 & 3 + Sky Sports extra.
The only time i ever watched it was if Liverpool were playing or if there was a decent boxing match and quite possibly the odd bit of wrasslin on a Friday night.
There are ways to get all the virgin media channels for free (well the minimum package and still get all the channels)
With clubs cutting ticket prices, it will be cheaper to actually go to games soon.
From next season, you need Sky Sports and Setanta to see the Premiership, plus PPV I think. From the season after, FA Cup and England games will be on Setanta too.
This is getting very expensive.
I wonder when the public will start making a stand, or will we just continue paying through the nose?
Its gettin too much, i have Sky Sports and the PPV season tkt, plus me season tkt at Anfield.
Now extra for the FA cup, they can feck off. Its 50 50 if i'll be at the FA cup game anyway( home i will ).
Im just gona have to drink more and go the pub to watch games.
You try and loose weight and this is what they do to ya.
Ah well fat forever
I know its little, but thats David Banner. Just wait untill you see the Incredible Hulk
Why would Setanta pay out a lot of money for the rubbish that is England. Would you pay fifteen quid a month to watch that pathetic display against Andorra. god knows what'll happen whenthey run into some third rate sides who actually have a couple of professionals on the team. i'm not subscribing to watch that ****. I'll just go down the pub if we're playing in the FA Cup on Setanta.
The same reason OnDigital spent a load of money on Football League coverage, copying Murdoch's strategy when he launched Sky.
. Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
but they change the frequencies every month to stop thieves like you
Ask KK07 if you want to know what they are.

I wonder how far this will all go before people decide its too much and stop subscribing to pay channels in the numbers their owners would like? As much as I love football and would gladly watch just about any footy I am already shelling out for Sky Sports and PPV and just can't be bothered to pay out more.
Live footy on TV used to be a novelty and it was exciting. Now I genuinely think there is too much football on TV and too many uninteresting and dull fixtures. If I'd paid to see this season's FA Cup I'd feel ripped off, with the exception of the first Spurs v Chavs game.
how much is it costing ya Paul.
Not that ill be going out of me way to watch England matches lol
I dont have the free Setanta channel after i went to sky digital.
When I first got it in it was €15 a month but since they've re-branded and revamped it's now at €18 a month. It is a decent enough price IMO cos aswell as the live Prem games they also show Champs League, SPL, Eircom League, Setanta Cup, GAA, The Rugby World Cup and of course after next year The FA Cup and England games
Oh and ye also get Celtic TV
The only downside is that ye also get *spit*Rangers TV*spit*:whatever:
All in all though it's worth it IMO Baz

Presumably, with the FA now set to rake in £125M extra from their new TV deal, the plans for the FA academy at Burton will be resurrected. After all, the whole thing would only cost around £50M, and might provide future generations with the technical skills required to compete for England at the highest level - skills which seem to have been lacking in recent times.
plus we get rid of john motson and lawro but get clive ( that night in barcelona)
tyldesley and robbie earle
