Although Italian police are a disgrace it was the United fans who started the trouble and it was them who were on the attack. They got what they deserved.

When we beat Roma at the Olympico a few years ago I was there and we were pelted with bottles and coins and no one retaliated. We were surrounded by riot police and we didn't attack them. United fans disgraced themselves today and they knew if they cause trouble in Italy they are going to get a beating.
