whats everyone worrying about............fredo reckons there wont be any trouble at all..............we are all fully grown adults
Their 2nd leg against Roma is massive. I think I'll be watching that more keenly and with more tension than any other non-LFC game I've ever watched before.
They HAVE to go out.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’
If it was fans of some club we had no clue about I don't think quite so many people on here would be talking like they had just got what they deserved. People are seeing things as they want them to be. It's ****ing shameful some of the **** people on here have said. There's every chance a lot of the people there tonight including some of those who were beaten fiercely by the police wanted absolutely no part in all this. Wait for the facts at least. What's right is right, Scouse, Manc, or otherwise.
So some of those who charged the glass barrier in retaliation, then copped a beating were "innocent" are they?
Those who were sensible not to get involved didn't get smacked. It's clear from the pictures.
According to ESPN, United have complained to UEFA as 2 balls were on the pitch when Roma took the corner. Now ESPN have showed the footage, and there were 2 footballs on the pitch, 1 rolled into play (corner ball) 1 rolling out of play.
The Old Soak also claimed it was ten against twelve because the ref was biased.
Graceless. They haven't even lost the tie yet.
. Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

Seriously, where did I say anything even remotely approaching that?
I wasn't condoning or condemning any of their fans. I just think peope are unwise to make sweeping statements like they know it all. And I don't think much is clear from the pictures at all.

I apologize, got carried away there.
What is clear is that they put themselves into a situation of their own volition, where the police could've re-acted, and they subsequently did.
The reaction from the police might've been brutal, but from the pictures I saw they were only beating those amongst the charge, they didn't purposely head into the scrum of united fans stood metres away and start swinging.

In the end the fans had a choice.Do we charge the plastic fence while a load a cops with big sticks are 10 metres away.
