11 Scum fans in hospital(Sky News) with stab wounds.I don`t think the police could do that with batons so they were involved in scraps with Roma fans elsewhere.

English,Irish and every other nationallity of Cops are the same.Solution.Don`t rush a plastic fence under their noses.Originally posted by DJS View PostWho's innocence?
It's all academic really, innocent or not, the manc fans were treated appallingly.
If someone's out of control, the police should exercise enough force to regain control, and that's it.
If a bloke's laying down, not moving, you dont need to keep fecking beating him, he's under your control.
Guilty or not it`s better for your skull if you don`t feck about infront of Foreign Cops on their turf.Manc fans got a beatin because they were too stupid to realise this.

And on topic, Manc ****s + Roma ****s + **** Italian police was always gonna be trouble"the correct decision would have been a penalty for us a red card for Gattuso and a yellow for Stevie"

just listening to Sky News.Originally posted by DJS View PostNonsensically anti-manc viewpoint.
If our fans were involved in "11 fans stabbed in ,ome Newsflash" we`d already be hearing Hillsborough or Heysel comparison`s and the "Problem with British Fans abroad" news feeds.Man U.Just the Facts.Cops were on the same side as the ManU fans on the Barrior,Like it`s the cops fault.Last edited by Johnny; 05-04-07, 02:49 AM.

I'll say it again, when I was there a few years back when we beat them 2-0 we were provoked but didn't react and that's why none of us got a police beating inside the ground.
I remember being pelted by full bottles of water/piss (whatever it was), coins, rocks etc whilst the police faced us, backs to the culprits. Roma fans were literally running up to the perspex screen and launching missiles at us. I remember distinctly everyone urging people not to throw anything back and to just stay calm. We kept getting pelted and we were all shouting at the police to turn around and do something yet they just stood there. It was a shambles. But apart from one or two reds who threw a few things back at the Roma fans we were unbelievably well behaved and that's why we didn't get charged by the insane Italian police.
United fans did the exact opposite and retaliated in numbers knowing what the Italian police were like in their heavy handed approach towards visiting fans. What did they expect? Diplomacy? The idiots got what they deserved. Retaliate and you're going to pay a price. I feel a little sorry for any innocents who got ****ted last night but let's face it most of the people who took a beating were the ones at the front line asking for trouble.

The reality is that football isn't very enjoyable in these kind of circumstances. The future is all doom and gloom if some 'idiots' hijack the game. European authorities should take a close look at how English authorities manage matches. By doing that, they will ensure that games won't be marred by scenes like yesterday night.Originally posted by desertscouser View PostI remember being pelted by full bottles of water/piss (whatever it was), coins, rocks etc whilst the police faced us, backs to the culprits. And isn't funny how 20 LFC fans getting stabbed in two years is not considered all that newsworthy but now 10 Mancs getting stabbed and some others get batoned suddenly is.
Roma have always been a problem, UEFA have never dealt with them, but now the Mancs are on the wrong end of it, the English media indignation goes into overload. Are you the Judean People's Front?
