If our police wore that kit and treated fans the same as they do ours, then the reverse would happen, strange that they don't and we don't see fighting within our stadiums, from within our league or at Euro matches.

The thing is, they expect us (the English supporters) to be trouble within their grounds, and treat us accordingly, and like most young people, if you are threatened with violence, you will react with violence, treat others with respect as you would wish to be treated yourself.
