Oh ****ety ****! This night has been a footballing disaster and LFC haven't even played.

Dual role for Lawrie... take it IFA.

Why on earth would you sack a manager in a relegation fight. Bizarre.

      Al Fayed's gone mental.
Dreams come true. Without that possibility, nature would not incite us to have them.

5 games to go, matches against us & arse, whatever will be will be, no-one is going to change the outcome this late, however, I now hope they actually suffer the worst fate and now go down with 2 other London clubs!!

Surely you can still go to the game and make the exam the next day though Polo ?

              Flight from London-Manchester return ?
Well, the exam is at 10am the next day, so it's difficult. Dunno, I will look into it before the time. If I can do it I will. In fact I think the closer I get to it the more I think I will feel I absolutely have to go, and just end up getting the ****ing coach there and back. What if it went to Extra Time and pens though?!

****, if we'd been selected to play on the Wednesday instead it would've been fine. Gutted.

But this would be a ****ing massive game. Don't know what to do now

                Go to the game.

                Home by 3am latest ?

Four or five hours sleep, you're sorted. The entire 'good nights sleep before an exam' theory is a total myth.

No trains back to London that late though, would have to be the coach. Which gets in at about 6am

I have to find a way to go somehow...

I might bring my car to London, then drive there and back, just take the parking ticket back in London. Sorted. Hassle free it isn't, but I'll get there one way or another.

Shame for Coleman. He did, however, make a big thing about how he had told the chairman that he had assembled a top 10 squad. He said he realised the pressure that he had put himself under but he believed he could live up to that claim.

Not sure if he said it earlier this season or the end of last but anyway, since then Fulham have been anything but a top 10 side and after their recent result I did wonder if that statement would come back to haunt him and it looks like it has in the shape of Al Fayed saying you have not delivered, time to go.

He is a pretty decent manager but he made a rod for his own back. Fulham would have stayed up with him and they will probably stay up without him, if only now because of the 'new manager' effect. They will get relegated without Coleman next season.

Mate we all love the club, but sometimes we have to make sacrifices. I completely missed the Alaves Uefa Cup Final because I had a marathon of 2 finals exams the very next day. Didnt even watch it on tv or listen to it on the radio. Had a mate text me the scores. I may have missed a classic, but it was the right decision in the end.

Sometimes 3 years of hard work is not worth sacrificing. I realised that when I completely ****ed up my 2nd year by following the club and going to virtually every game. I used to walk around saying "who cares as long as Liverpool win the league". When I got my results I realised following the club wasn't the be all and end all. I'd sacrificed a lot to follow the club because I was just completely consumed by all things LFC. And in the end I realised I'd got the priorities wrong and it wasn't worth it. Things like exam results and degree classifications stick, it's basically your future.

Only you know how important and crucial the exam is, and if you can get by if you give up on it to the extent you have to to go to the game. But if you're in anything like the position I was in going into those final exams then you should sacrifice the game and focus on passing the exam.

Definitely some truth in that. Although IF Lawrie Sanchez takes the job on a permanent basis then I think they'll do just as well tbh, he's a pretty decent manager himself.
