In this thread the Scotland shirts are the best. They always get decent shirts.
In the west of Scotland there's an entire industry been built around the 'Lisbon Lions'

All in all as a non-Celtic fan i find the entire thing fairly tiresome.

When Arsenal meets Man City at a neutral ground next season, a lot of illiterate Milanese will go and watch it.

          West ham looks really nice.

If we were the first British club to win the European Cup, you can bet your ass we'd still be talking about it. Weren't 10 of the 11 players in 67 born within a 5 mile radius of Celtic Park also?

Who cares where they were born?

After we won number 5 i had numpties in work remind me that Celtic were the first club to win the European cup and that all the players were from the same family yadda yadda yadda....

If you are a Celtic fan, you would have done the same. The first brit club to have done something is always a historic event. If we can have our history, why can't they have theirs?

So basically your prejudice against Celtic is clouding your judgement.
                    Fair enough.

I'm no fan of Celtic, yet I understand their desire to celebrate the greatest moment in their history. It seems everyone else on the thread does too.

The fact that they continue to celebrate it on an almost daily basis starts to grind just a little.

Yes I'd think so. Even though I actually don't like Celtic that much at all

Just as we go on about our history - on and on sometimes - no wonder other clubs get fed up of it

You have no idea how much the Celtic make of it though. There is a stage show that's been running in Glasgow for years all about Celtics victory in Lisbon. Neigh on every year they release a commemarative strip and wheel out the players from the night for speal dinners in celebration of the acheivment.

It just grates after a while. Thats all. No disrespect to the team who won the trophy.
