What difference does it make what the nationality of the shareholders is as long as they understand the club's heritage and traditions and have it's long term well-being at heart? Never understood this little-Englander mentality.

I heard that the last thing he said was, "If Henry is going to Liverpool then I am leaving."
"The definition of insanity is not running into the same wall again and again; it's expecting a different result every time you do it."

If, as seems obvious, Dein is a supporter of this American billionaire, Kroenke, and if the guy has a big enough stake (between them they own 25&#37 then Kroenke can insist on a seat on the board. In turn, he might well pick Dein as his representative. I heard words to this effect on Radio 4 this morning - the first thing I've heard Mihir Bose say that was actually informative which proves there really is a first time for everything.

This saga has a lot longer to run I feel.
              .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

I think they will sell to another American buyer.
In a few years Roman will leave Chavski & some American tycoon will buy the club. YANK invasion.
It seems the New Cold War will now be fought on the Premiership pitches of England....
