i still don't like choosing individuals
Virtually got us into the final with blindin games against Olympiakos & Roma, I agree it is a team but individual brilliance has to be rewarded!!

    Agree with that though Eth!!

There is nothing remotely brilliant in Michael Owen, apart from a dodgy knee.

I only post when it's some interesting news about him. I don't discuss him anymore if someone don't ask me to do it.

Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

If it wasn't for Owen's goals in the latter part of the 2003/04 season we would never have even qualified for the Champions League in the first place and Istanbul would have been a bloody Chelsea triumph.

Not to mention his contribution from 1998-2004, helping us win trophies, qualify for Europe all meant we were an attractive enough club for Rafa to join.

Without Owen we would have been a ****e, mid-table team under Houllier and Stevie would have gone with him.

Yeah, he only won the penalty for Gary Mac and then set up Gerrard's goal

in his peak, Robbie Fowler easily scored 20+ goals each season, the main problem being, our team was ****e

when owen was in his peak, we had a fairly decent team, which owen contributed to us winning trophies.

you can not state that without owen we'd have been a mid table team. we would have had another striker to carry the goal scoring burden

I'm watching too, and I'm glad to see him back. Michael Owen was a top class player for LFC, anyone who doesn't think so obviously wasn't watching us too closely.
Dreams come true. Without that possibility, nature would not incite us to have them.

I am glad Owen is back had a lot of bitterness towards him in the past but really hope he comes back and does well. (as long as it's not against Liverpool)
I think it's a foul, and if the ref gives it. He got to give a penalty. I know it's outside the box, but you see them given that close to the area. So if the ref gives it he's got to give the penalty as it so close to the area. But I think it's a penalty. Robbie Savage 8/11/06

Are you watching Manchester United? Are you watching Chelsea? This is Liverpool F.C taking over the bloody world!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WTF? Some lad died and gave Michael Owen his ligaments?

Owen's first touch - sticks the ball in the back of the net, but it's ruled out for offside.
