My City supporting friend tells me they've suspended Barton for the rest of the season for beating up Dabo.
Which is a shame as it hands Man U the title. -
Manchester City have suspended Joey Barton for the rest of the season after he hit team-mate Ousmane Dabo in training, BBC Sport understands.
Dabo had to go to hospital after sustaining injuries to his mouth during the incident at Carrington on Tuesday.
Club spokesman Paul Tyrrell said: "We can confirm that a player has been suspended until the end of the season, pending an internal investigation."

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.
