    Mourinho for England?

With the rising speculation over Jose Mourinho's possible exit from Chelsea (although I think Abramovich would be out of his mind to get rid of him), what do you think about him as a possible England manager?

Sure, he's a prick, but he's a damn good football manager. There's no question in my mind that McClaren simply isn't good enough, but I don't think the FA have many options if they were to fire him.

Jose would definitely be an upgrade over McClaren...although I doubt he'd have the sense to play Stevie as an attacking CM and leave Lampard on the bench...

    Any thoughts?

I can't believe the FA would appoint him as he'd be too controversial.
      .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

It wasn't really controversial, I'd say "woeful" would be a better word.

Apart from the obvious love/hate relationship with the media and his predilection for stirring up controversy, can you imagine what it would be like if, as England manager, Mourinho had to try to develop a reasonable working relationship with the clubs?

It would at least be a lot more fun than the current relationship.

Sorry to hear that. I had no idea whether or not you were in a relationship at the moment. Hope it works out OK for you.
