I can rationalise it for me, agains going over old ground:
I watch him - he looks bobbins.
I tell people of how crap he is.
He invariably scores a hat load of goals.
I look stupid

I swear to god that just like Wenger improves young players purely to spite Shaggy, Makaay scores goals in bursts deliberately to prove me wrong.

For a forward scoring goals is quite important.

He also used to have a habit of doing it in European games where I'd bet against his team. *******.

I know what you mean. Every time I see him I think 'he's ****ing ****e', but he's scored so many goals and at a high level. I think I now finally understand how Shaggy feels about Trezeguet

Bayern are having a summer clearout with Mackaay, Pizzaro, Hargreaves among others leaving the club. Their failure to reach the champo league next season has led to this.
Makaay will score 30 goals in the SPL guarenteed, very good player/finisher.
