Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

I was so happy. Disappointed I missed it though. I thought it was all over and watched Spurs vs Blackburn instead, oh well.

They are *******s. And besides I like Getafe. Güiza, Alexis and Casquero are quite some players in particular. I hope they win the copa del Rey.

I watched snippets of the game from time to time and Barcelona were dire. They were off the pace, panicky in defence, overwhelmed in midfield and offered next to nothing going forward. It was hard to believe how poor they were and since they've still to play Getafe and Athletico in the league, I'd say Real Madrid, with five relatively easy fixtures, must be favourites for the title.

I think Beckham deserves to win something there. I would be happy if they won.

I think the result shows that Deco is Barcelonas most important player.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

I have to agree wich makes it all the more baffling that Cappello is about to get the boot. Will they ever learn? They did the same thing to Del Bosque when he won the league. It's not a given that you'll do well in the Champions League, it's a bonus.

Pretty soon no decent manager will go there because they know that unless they win the league and European double every season they'll be sacked.

Real Madrid really are a pathetic excuse for a football club. They're a prime example of how not to run things.
