    How annoying is Jamie Redknapp?

For some reason, as a pundit this guy never fails to get on my nerves.

In his playing days for us he was a fragile pretty boy who refused to get stuck in (until he started playing with Ince who helped raise his game) and his punditry career is mirroring his playing days - aesthetically satisfying but absolutely no substance behind it.

His bull**** about Frank Lampard being the best midfielder in the world is as deluded and ignorant as it is loyal to his family. If this guy is not going to say anything vaguely plausible then why bother having him on tv?

If I hear again what a "great human being" Frank Lampard is, I'm going to cancel my Sky Sports subscription.

You worry too much about things you have no effect on nor any control over.

He just isn't going to dis his family is he?

Just turn the sound off, turn the TV over, and only return when the match starts are some options, I have the TV on and listen to R5 for most of the weekend, most of the time actually, so am oblivious to pundits and their witterings

One thing wrong with my theory, I managed to miss MOTD last night

Isn't that what being a football fan is all about. It's ok to be irrational some times.

He usually says positive things about us though so I don't mind him to be honest, compared to some of the other pundits on the telly.

Well said. Though i fear that there will be some 'he was a red, never hear a bad word said against an ex-red' comments.

I like Jamie to be fair, i'll never hear a bad word said against him!

The 'aesthetically satisfying' comment from Dhavlos made me more uneasy than anything Jamie ever said.

fat frank is his cousin, what do u expect him to say? "i played much better than fat frank when i am not injured" ?

What I mean by that is that he looks the part.

But he completely blows the illusion when he opens his mouth. Similar to when he was on the pitch, looked the part but I'm not sure what he actually added to the team.

I dont expect him to propagate the most nonsensical notion in football that Lampard was "the best midfielder in the world"

Seeing as how he is serious eye candy he can say what the hell he wants, I don't care

Hahaha. true. But does the fact that he's related to Frank Lampard not bother you slightly?
