Juventus strike personal terms with Ajax ace Huntelaar
    tribalfooball.com - May 17, 2007

Juventus have struck personal terms with Ajax strike-ace Klaas-Jan Huntelaar.

Tuttosport says Huntelaar would jump at the chance to join Juve this summer and would prefer Turin as his next destination over Barcelona and Manchester.

Johan Cruyff is urging Huntelaar to join Barca, while Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is also keen, however Juve powerbrokers Roberto Bettega and Alessio Secco have convinced the young forward that his best option is Italy.

Terms have been agreed for a contract worth £2.3 million-a-season and Juve are now planning to open talks with Ajax over a fee for Huntelaar, which will begin at £12 million.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Man Utd boss Ferguson to check on Huntelaar today
          tribalfooball.com - May 19, 2007

Manchester United are planning a £12 million bid for Ajax strike-ace Klaas-Jan Huntelaar.

The News of the World says United have requested FIVE tickets for today's play-off game against AZ Alkmaar.

And sources claim Red Devils boss Alex Ferguson and his brother Martin will be part of the scouting party who will take a look at the 23-year-old.

Ajax have all but resigned themselves to losing Huntelaar, top scorer in Holland this season with 37 goals.

Alves won the golden boot in Holland, not Huntelaar.

Delle Alpi has never had atmosphere, they have had crowds under 100 for games (79 v Fiorentina in 2001) and under 1000 for champions league game against Arsenal.

thats my point, they're playing at the stadio communale for a few seasons which doesnt have the athletics track so the fans have turned up again. part of the problem is that all juve games are available on telly i think. similar situation wouldnt affect us as there are mugs like me dreaming of getting a season ticket one day and for the moment settling with sky and sopcast, oh joy. (bit off topic i know).

Apparently they have the most fans of any team in Italy, it's just that they are a exaggerated Man United with the vast majority of their fans not coming from anywhere near the local area.
