Did anybody else catch this before the UEFA Cup Final on ITV4 on Wednesday night. Great compilation of the greatest 50 goals ever scored in the competition. Tuned in to it fairly late on and caught Crouchie vs Galatasaray at around 12 or 13 I think. Stevie G vs Olympiakos was 8 so as you can imagine the goals rated better than that would need to be pretty special. That fantastic Raul goal vs MU at OT was 3rd ( you know , the one with that amazing backheel/ turn or whatever the **** you want to call it by Redondo on the left wing) . ZZ vs Bayer Leverkusen won it predictably. Unbelievable strike that. Your probably wondering what the significance of this rant is so I won't bore you any longer. Can someone please explain to me HOW in the ****ing world Alan Smith's goal vs Roma at Old Trafford this season can be considered the 6th best goal ever scored in tthe history of the competition? Fine team goal, yes. Good connection/ finish, yes. But 6th best ever in the competition's history!!!!. The bias shown towards this club is boundless. I think the rest of the country may get this programme next week sometime during the build up to the final. Look out for it. It's a whole hour of amazing goals. Some more amazing than others.
