    Sidwell joins Chavski

Another promising player, who'll be buried in the grave that is Chelsea

Poor Reading, they didn't even get any money for him.

      1. Why the hell do Chelski want him?

      2. Why the hell for footballing reasons did he join them?

Im sure he's only going for the money and the medals, he wont play many games, just pick up the wages and whatever medals they get.

Good player in a small team at Reading

He probably wants the Premiership title (which he will never get as from now on, we'll win it another 18 times...)

He will get more games than people think. It's a long season, they play 3 CMs, and Chelsea are going to lose Essien and Mikel amongst others for the African Nations Cup.

What do you think Sidwell should've done? Turn down the chance of winning a major trophy because he might not play more than 30 games next season? Come on.

SWP had options, other top teams wanted him and he could've made a better choice. But for a player like Sidwell this may be the only opportunity he has to join a club that has a great chance of winning trophies every season.

Maybe they will and maybe they won't, but if it's your opinion that Chelsea 'don't have a chance' of winning a trophy next season then there's no point talking to you about football really.

Im playing devils advocat. They will have a chance like the rest.

Its just seems strange to me that they have all the money in the world to get the best of the best but decide to go for Sidwell an alright player who played his best season in an alright lower level team

Well just for future reference, playing devil's advocate is presenting another perspective for arguments sake, not misinterpreting what someone else is arguing
