IF you think we felt bad after wed, imagine how the WBA fans must feel, losing the play off, seeing their local rivals promoted, and with the possibility that both Derby Brum and Sunderland could form some sort of championship elite, with all the new money in the prem, it is possible that the teams going down next season will just be too strong for everyone else, and simply bounce back up.

it wasn't referred to as the £60 million play off for nothing
Lawrenson:"Well thats 3 good chances they have had in the first 3 minutes of this half"

Motson:"" Yes Mark, you could almost say that they have had 3 chances in as many minutes"

Lawrenson: Errr I thought I just did say that, John"

Bit disappointed WBA didn't win it.
Don't really like Derby, can't stand Billy Davies.

Was hoping for a WBA win, so that my country would have a representative in Premiership (Robert Koren).

And I don't like Derby, they have a ****ty logo and a ****ty team.

Why does no-one like Billy Davies? I've hardly ever seen him either interviewed or on the touchline and I don't like him at all but I really don't know why.
                .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

I dont get that 60£ m pay off. So Derby makes that much by just getting promoted ? In one shot ?

I'm no expert but I don't think it's a £60m cash injection - I think that's just what promotion is worth to the club, what with next year being the start of an even more cash-rich era for Premiership clubs.

Isn't every Prem club gonna be, on average, £30m better off per season now?

It is confusing is it not ? I mean the media harp on about 60 m quid without explaining how/when its disbursed.
