    Giggs Quits Wales

    #2

In his heart - Giggs quit Wales years ago.
His body may have been there but his mind certainly wasn't.
    Liverpool born and bred.

That was evident in the game on Saturday, he just didn't look interested.

Does anybody know if he's quitting immediately or will he play on Saturday and go after that game?

        BBC have just added more:

        Giggs to quit international game

Wales captain Ryan Giggs will announce his retirement from international football on Wednesday afternoon.
The 33-year-old Manchester United winger will play for the last time for Wales in Saturday's Euro 2008 qualifier against the Czech Republic in Cardiff.

It is believed Giggs, who will bow out with 64 caps, has been considering his future since Wales' 1-0 loss away to the Republic of Ireland in March.

That all but ended their chances of qualifying for the Euro 2008 finals.

        More soon.

for a player thats 33, and started playing at 17, having less than 65 caps is a joke.

What is a joke is how the Welsh setup let him consatntly get away with pulling out of friendlies............to only play his first friendly in 2000 was another joke.

How must the other players in the squad felt about him turning up for competitive matches and everyone then bowing to him.........ridiculous

who's to blame? you have to give alot of the blame to giggs, if he really wanted to play all those times he would have

how many times in the past has he played for the mancs on a sat, missed the midweek, and played for mancs the following sat

                              ****
