Out of interest was it Zambia that lost the whole team in a plane crash (might have been in the nineties)? i can vaguely remember something like that happening to an african nation.
The team that perished was one of the best sides ever that Zambia had hada few youngsters as well and mostly played in Europe.
Till this day the families/lawyers of the victims are still awaiting compensation and an official report what exactly happened, how the plane went down.
It has been reported that they took a faulty army plane because the president at that time wanted to use the national carrier in which the players were suppose to travel.Comment
