Aye same here...the format became very tired indeed.

When it first started it was like a gift from the Gods. I loved it. Like a 'Going Live!' or 'Swap Shop' for football fans. It was funny and fresh and the perfect start to a weekend. I used to absolutely love the Manc dancers. Funny as ****.

They never did enough to keep it vital and I'm sure it dumbed down - and when Soccer AM's tired brand of lame, laddish 'footy humour' started making it on to the terraces, it was surely time to pack up and go home.

Wasn't the whole thing Lovejoy's baby? I know he was the producer but I'm sure it was all his idea which he pitched to Sky.

long time since I last watched it, it was a for a while a top notch show, but it does need to be freshened up.

I'm gutted, I seem to be in the minority with that opinion mind. I love Soccer AM and think that's majorly due to Lovejoy. I think they should get one of the existing crew to replace him...Sheephead would probably be my choice.

They'll probably go with Andy Goldstein from the Allsports Show though, which is OK I suppose.

In reality, hes stuck on Channel 5 doing some cack quiz show plus the odd UEFA Cup game with Digger and Midget Nevin.
