After tonights performance i think it's fair to say that McLaren is the man to take England to the next level. If the F.A. had any sense they'd offer him a new 5 year contract.
I only listened on the radio but I think that it sounded like McLaren deserves some credit for the game today. The last two matches it appears he has come up with a way to play Gerrard and Lampard - deeper and getting the ball to the players ahead of them. Despite the daft decision to drop him yet retain Jenas, bringing back Beckham was the right decision.
It may be a waste of individual talent but it is all about the team. The slight worry would be that they let too many attacks through them against a **** team.
Ledley King is talented but inexperienced and not as good as Carragher, not sure why considering his lack of games he was in the team. Sounded like in the first half he was exposed for the above faults.

then again, it was only estonia, and it should have been an easy game from minute one, for the team to perform well against a fairly poor opposition is not ground for applause. once they deliver against bigger nations i will give respects, but beating estonia is hardly worth celebrating...

Yeah...he was absolutely stand out against "Estonia". Absolutely took the game to them, ya coulnd't get the ball off him, he took them on and beat them every time. *coughs* riiiight.
So that would be Frank "I've gone missing, given the ball away again, against fecking Estonia" Lampard.
