No because for Betis' as all other Spanish teams its the Sporting director that signs the players. In Betis' case the director Lopera is a ****ing madman. No one likes him really, he'll rip other teams off and throw crazy fits and generally isn't a good person at all. So no one who he didn't want at the club would come regarless of the manager. He is a terrible person. Most Spanish people know this especially those familier with the joaquin transfer saga.

I'm not worried one bit, Luis Fernandez was probably going to leave at the end of the season anyway. He is also a **** imo. the problem I think we may face is if they get relegated. Then i guess we'll be trying to sell him to other smaller liga teams. I can't see Mark going to play in Segunda
