Does anyone know where the best places to get detailed and decent football statistics on the web are?

I'm looking specifically because I'm in the middle of a heated argument with a bunch of geordies about relative spending and transfer budgets in the last decade


But any really good links to general websites would be good anyway

Cool... Disco, I need the total spend (and balance in/out, but spend is more important) of all the top flight clubs in the last decade..... oh, and some graphs would be nice
