    Capello

So La Liga is finally done and dusted, Capello takes RM to champions status yet some of the board above him may be saying this is not enough for all the money they spend. They want CL glory as well.

I personally think his job is safe, but if the Rafa to Madrid rumours intensify any further, the question I pose is.....

What about a straight swap of manager? Would/Could that happen?

I'd obviously like to stick with Rafa and his long term plan, but if the worst was to happen (which for the record, I don't think it will), how would he rate as a replacement?

Capello has won the league for every club he had managed.

    I would take the swop.

      Brilliant manager.

Never. He is a horrible coach.Negative and cynical.Real did'nt win playing his way.If they listened to him they would'nt have won.Barca blew it and Madrid just went for it when the chance arose.Cant stand the guy
Oh the man is a midfield maestro
and his passes are sooo delightful

I've not looked into it that far, but seriously? Every team since he first started as manager?

It's the old chestnut anyway why I think he won't leave and why Rafa won't go there.

Sack a league winning manager and your never going to get another top coach going to that team. Also having a top European manager (Rafa) quit half way through his "project", then that also sends out wrong signals.

If the doom & gloom merchants are actually right about Rafa quitting, I think Capello would be a better option than Paul effin' Jewell.

Personally I think he is the only manager I would trust to replace Rafa and get us close to winning the league. People like MON who have been touted are not in the same league. What worries me is his style of play, but you have to say his record is second to none. He has won the League with Milan, Roma and Juve (although those were subsequently stripped) and now Real Madrid twice. What other manager has a record like that?

Agree. If you include the two championships that were taken off Juventus, then he has won 9 league titles at 4 different clubs. Different class.

Dam right Livvy, he was all out during the season and sure he made mistakes with Beckham but he put them right and admitted he was wrong, sign of a good manager.

He has got those players hunger back and has made them fitter and has paid off towards the end of the season. Some good signings during the season and in January. He's brought life back to the Bernabeu.

I wonder would he love a crack at the Premiership. Thats a phenomenal record him winning a title with every team he's been at

I'm sure he'll fancy a crack at winning the Premiership before he hangs up his coaching boots.

He has had amazing players at every club he has had and has still managed to play ****e football with them all.Baresi,Maldini, the Dutch trio,Hierro,Raul,Nedved,Del Piero etc etc. What summed him up as a manager for me was in Turin in the quarter final of the Champions league versus us.They never went for it and sat and sat and waited to nick a goal and did'nt.They say great managers are a mirror image of how there team plays and he is a boring **** and so were his teams.A better version of Houllier and that is'nt a great compliment.

Even the best manager in the world can't control his team once he's picked it. But the real reason was because, ummm, errrrr, ahhhhh, I say, eh, drool... can you stop that avatar?
