I honestly cannot believe the number of City fans complaining so vigorously about the prospect of Eriksson taking over. What planet are they on??? After some of the jokers they've had in charge over the years, you'd think they'd be grateful.

Eriksson's record at club level is fantastic, and if you actually look at his record as England coach, rather than listen to the tabloids' sensationalist rubbish, it is very good indeed. If he got the City job and ended up with a similar win percentage, City would be in the Champions League.

He also has very good connections all over the World so it will be easier for them to sign quality players. The Eriksson deal is done according to the Swedish media.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

I think it is just a vocal minority, 5Live were reporting some local survey which showed 79% of fans were in favour of him coming in.

You just have to look at the lunacy on here to see what the prospect of a big money takeover does to some football fans though.

Haha, I saw a poll that revealed 70% against him. I work with a lot of City fans and the despair amongst them has been, frankly, unbelievable. One of 'em said to me yesterday he'd be giving up his season ticket if Eriksson got the job.

You've complained about working with morons before.

              And so have they.
              .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

Plus, he has to pass the PL's "fit and proper" test for new owners. How on earth will he pass that?

I can't believe City are even contemplating being taken over by him, I'm delighted he didn't take over us.
