    Titus gets another knock

    Seen on Sportinglife:

One of Sam Allardyce's key tasks over the summer is to strengthen the Newcastle defence (which he's started well by releasing Titus Bramble).

Him playing in the PL will always be one of football's great mysteries...

he's already signed up for wigan, which they stated was a massive coop

Choose the sword, and you will join me. Choose the ball and you join your mother, in death. You don’t understand my words, but you must choose. So… come boy, choose life or death."

That Hutchings fella seems intent on relegation, I don´t think they stand a chance of staying up.
      * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

It sounds ludicrous but Bramble has the majority of the attributes needed to be a top centre back. He's quick, strong, good in the air and, for the most part, good in the tackle. His two glaring weaknesses are his total lack of concentration, and his slack, casual approach when in possession.

If he had Carra's levels of concentration he'd be a very good centre back. As it is, he has the concentration span of a two year old, and is consequently a complete liability.

He's the Emile Heskey of defenders. He has all the attributes to be a top player but for some unknown reason he's an utterly useless footballer. I may be being a little harsh on Bramble comparing him with Heskey but they're both crap. Now that they'll be playing in the same side it is a 100% guarantee that Wigan will go down in style. I predict the lowest points tally in premeirship history.

it might be a real simple case of stupidity, he doesn't look like the sharpest tool in the shed, he isn't intelligent enough to play football at the highest level...

did you see heskey as a central defender in wigans last game, hell he was man of the match and was voted in the team of the week as a center back. maybe they could play there together

It's a fair comparison. They've both 'failed' due to weaknesses in their mentality rather than physical or technical ability.

Heskey really could have had it all.

Is Heskey still having troubles in his private life? - just remembered all the stories from his time with us when he kept getting caught by his wife...
